Resource Management Integration with Workday for Vacation or Out of Office?

Hi all,

We currently use Resource Management and have our teams enter their vacation time to ensure we capture this for employees. We also currently have Workday which tracks vacations and absence.

Is there a way to integrate the two to pull the data from Workday?

Hi @summetg

There currently isn't a direct integration between Workday and Resource Management.

That said, you could potentially use Bridge if you have access to it, or the Resource Management API.

The "Create Assignment" Bridge module or / assignments API endpoint could be used to create leave assignments in Resource Management based on what's entered into Workday.

Can that "Create Assignment" work as an "import" type function? I feel it is triggering the data to push to a system like Workday, not from?

Hi @summetg

The "Create Assignment" module in Bridge will create assignments in Resource Management when an event takes place elsewhere, for example in Workday. Is that what you were looking to do?
