Unique data and sort row function

Hi,
I have a customer base with one customer appearing 4 to 5times and have values across them. I want to create unique customers and represent their values in chart format. And every time a new customer is added, their value appears with the sorting Ascending or Descending. I have tried using Report with sorting function.
Please suggest how can I do.

I hope you're well and safe!
Have you tried Grouping in the Report?
Did that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!

Hi Andree,
Thanks for the reply. Hope you are great.
I have tried Grouping in the Report and applied Sort function on Sum of values. But it seems that sort function doesn't work properly in Reports. It doesn't sort any data with respect to Ascending or Descending order.
Regards,
Kamya.

Happy to help!
I'm excellent! Thanks for asking!
Strange!
Can you maybe share some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help.

Hi Andrew,
Please find the screenshot below where I am soring with respect to values in ascending order but it doesn't work.

The Grouping function in a report will automatically group your data alphabetically. Then when you apply a Sort, it will sort the rows within their Group, but not in the overall report.
See the note in this article: Sort Your Report Results with Report Builder
Let me know if that clarifies report functionality or if I can help with anything else!
