Sheet Templates - Workflow Update Requests

So we want to set up some templates that we will be able to use over and over when a new project comes on. In this template, if we create workflows for update requests, will these start from the "as of" date from when we begin using the template or will we need to go through and update the workflows each time? For example, today is 7/30/22 and we create a work flow to request an update from the collabarator for 2 weeks from today if the date completion date is blank. If we use this template again in October, will the workflow date update to current or will we need to update it manually for each?

You need a column wherein the today's date (current date) is recorded (can be setup in automation), then you can setup update request based on conditions (condition path).
