"Gantt Chart" and "Sort by Date" do not work as expected

I am trying to create a consolidated sheet for past projects. I have inserted each project's Start-date and End-date as links from other cells. However the gantt chart is not correct, please see the first attached screen; i.e. missing project A and project E. Also if I try to sort by start date, the sorting result is incorrect, please see the second attached screen.

My purpose of creating a consolidated sheet is for overviewing the timeline of multiple projects. Any advices? Thanks in advance.

Attached the screen is my desired result. I have duplicated the original sheet to a new one which contained values only. Seems that there are some uncertainties when a sheet contains links from cells in other sheets.
