Combining dates on a report

Hello,

I have a report that pulls from timecards that have multiple entries per day. Right now I have it for total hours (filtered for a specific comment), but I also need to see how many days this happened, and some have 1- 3 entries per day. How can I get those dates combined into a single instance?

The raw data looks similar to the grid below:

I have but then you have to look for each person by the date then count it up. Right now it's grouped by Position ID since that is how we want to view it.
