New Comments Field Not Updating "Last Modified Date"

Hi!

I am trying to generate metrics and reports on "Aged" items. This has always been tricky because many times the updates occur within the Comments of a particular row versus the row itself.

I was hoping that with the new "Latest Comment" column, when this column updated, it would update the "Modified" column. However, it does not.

It is performing as intended? I'd love a way to ensure that if items have recent comments that they do not appear on my Aged reports.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• Add a workflow that Records the Date when someone adds a Comment.
