Similar to the Include Parent Rows checkbox, an Include Child rows checkbox would be useful.

I am a fan of filters - in the Filters there is a checkbox to show parent rows. A lot times I want filter by the parent row and want to see what is in the child rows that are under the parent row. Which I cannot do. I end up using the Find tool, but this isn't as effective as building Filters as I reuse those all the time. This feature would be helpful - at least for me 🙂
I maintain master lists of initiatives in one sheet for each program I'm tracking but not managing. When conducting reviews, I filter the list of initiatives based the stakeholders I am meeting with. Most often, the Children of row item that matches the filter criteria are needed for discussion during my reviews.
I currently manage this through a work around formula in a hidden column. It would be much easier if the filter box include an option to "Include children rows" as it does for "Include parent rows"
Love this idea
I came here exactly to give this idea. Unfortunately it's not popular enough.
Agreed. I have many parent rows that are essentially an agenda with the child rows being the agenda items. The filter tool isn't able to show me anyof the child rows, when I filter the sheet by keywords. Short of adding a keyword to each child row as well, which would be cumbersome, I don't find a workaround.
There should be a way to toggle option if we want to include child rows inside of a filter. Where we can currently have the parent row option, we should be able to also include child rows.
This would be very useful. Using a helper column does not work for my scenario as I need a combination of parent and children row entries to complete certain tasks.
It would be extremely beneficial to have the ability to manually assign colors to individual projects within the Timeline View. Currently, project colors are automatically determined by the Dashboard Theme, which limits flexibility and makes it challenging to visually differentiate projects in a meaningful way. Allowing…
It would be useful if users who clicked a Dynamic View link (that they were not previously added to) could "request access" to the Dynamic View, and provide a reason, so that the admin can easily grant that access. The use case for me would be to avoid having to pre-populate and then maintain a user group of viewers, but…
As the smartsheet admin for Europe, it would be extremely helpful to be able to view all Automations / recurring emailed reports in one place as opposed to sheet level. It's almost impossible to ensure everything is working correctly / delete recurring emailed reports without this.
