Can I change a row and trigger other rows to be assigned to a person?

Hello,

I'm fairly new to smartsheets, and for my work, we are building a new template to use for project management. One of our first rows is to assign a specialist to the project once one has been determined. I want to know if there is a way to select one row in specific, and once the row (any value in the row works, but most of them are too generic) has been changed, all other rows that should be assigned to the specialist will automatically be assigned.

I haven't been able to figure out a solution for this automation and wanted to ask the community for any possible solutions.

I believe the best way to handle this would be to use a formula in the Assigned To column so that it is equal to the Assigned To column in the row above it.

You can carry this equation down the entire sheet and thus would need to only Assign the specialist in one row.
