Using Smartsheet to Propose/Review/Approve/Contract/Assign Conference sessions

Hi Team!

I am in a bit of a stitch over here - my organization has been using a product called "Precis Abstract Management" for the last few years to collect conference proposals (~300 a year) and, in turn, review, approve, contract and assign times for the proposals.

Today, we found out that the parent company is no longer going to support this system, and we will have to move all of this data and the full process into a new system. I have suggested we use Smartsheet. Has anyone used Smartsheet to do this type of process? If so, how did you do it?
