Long drop down lists grabbed from an external source

I am creating a monitoring sheet with all the employee list of the company. Can we have a long list of dropdown ins smartsheet which is grabbed from an external source like a google sheet?

Yes, you could use the Premium App, Data Shuttle, to "sync" the Dropdown options.

Is that an option?

Hi,

By "Sync" , you mean through external source?

I just want to get the source from the spreadsheet that has the list of all employees instead of adding them all to the dropdown of smartsheet.

Ok.

Then you need to use Data Shuttle, the Smartsheet API, or a 3rd-party service.

Data Shuttle would load the spreadsheet and then update the Dropdown list(s) whenever a change occurs.

Is that an option?
