can i add a formula in one column in all 5000 rows? we have tried but sheet doesn't seem to allow us to add the formula too far beyond the last row of data.
any help please?
Smartsheets has auto-add so if you drag the formula down through the last available cell, every time you add data the new cells will contain that formula. Here is more on the auto-add feature: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/1641473-auto-filling-formulas-and-formatting

You're welcome. I tend to drag the formulas down, then delete all the empty rows at the end. Smartsheet will still add the formulas when I start entering data in those new rows.
