Why isn't this simple formula working?

Hi, I am trying to add 3 columns together in one column. Each of the three columns below are populated by other formulas.

All of the formulas below return an #UNPARSEABLE error

=COUNT([# OF DETECTNET REQUESTS OPEN (AWAITING DECISION)]@row + [# OF DETECTNET REQUESTS PENDING (CREDIT APPROVED)]@row + [# OF DETECTNET REQUESTS PENDING (CAH TO PROCESS)

=SUM([# OF DETECTNET REQUESTS OPEN (AWAITING DECISION)]@row + [# OF DETECTNET REQUESTS PENDING (CREDIT APPROVED)]@row + [# OF DETECTNET REQUESTS PENDING (CAH TO PROCESS)

=[# OF DETECTNET REQUESTS OPEN (AWAITING DECISION)]@row + [# OF DETECTNET REQUESTS PENDING (CREDIT APPROVED)]@row + [# OF DETECTNET REQUESTS PENDING (CAH TO PROCESS)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

@Andrée Starå Hello there, Yes I can do that. When I just have two columns the formula will bring the sum of the two but when I add the third, is when I get the error. This formula works just fine but the second screenshot is one of the three I previously mentioned above.
