I am struggling to grant ownership of a smartsheet page to another person I am working with. I get an error message telling me that they are not able to become an owner of the page. Does anyone know what I should do to try and fix that issue?

@Andrée Starå Sorry for the late reply but the error message is " This user cannot accept ownership at this time. Please retain your ownership or select a different user" Not sure what the issue is, let me know if this helped!

Is the person you're trying to give ownership to a licensed SmartSheet user?

Are you both part of the same Smartsheet Account?

It sounds like this has something to do with the type of account the other collaborator has. For example, some of the older Smartsheet plans used to have restrictions on the number of sheets owned. If your collaborator is not on a current Smartsheet plan type, they may not be able to accept your sheet.

Can you clarify what type of account this user has?
