IFS & COUNTIFS/ MATCH, NO MATCH

Below is a screenshot of my sheet. I have count if, Match referencing another sheet with this sheet. Individual columns will show " MATCH"-

( DATE MATCH TEST 2022:Invoice Date)

(Payee:PAYEE TEST MATCH 2022)

But the COUNTIFS IN the (2022) Column matching payee & date is returning NO Match.

The data is clean in both sheets, there are no invisible characters or spaces and the column properties are all the same. I am absolutely stuck

When you have COUNTIFS then all criteria should be met. Can you please check and confirm if the ranges {2022 Payee aya} in the individual case is same as the {2022 Payee} in the combined case?

Ok, thanks. Cannot confirm from the screenshot that the reference sheet has the payee and invoice dates on the same row that match the one in you are using the formula, but I assume you have already checked that.

Hey @Bobby1

As a test, what happens if you copy your gray sheet Payee, Invoice Date AND Invoice Number into the a row in your brown table? Does that row then show a MATCH? If this causes a Match, do the test again but do each field separately to see which field is different. Include the Invoice No field.
