Sheet Summary Formula
I have a formula that totals the number of sales per project manager broken down by month:
=COUNTIF([Date Awarded]:[Date Awarded], IFERROR(MONTH(@cell), 0) = 9)
I need another formula to Sum those sales for each month based on the column "Amount Awarded." I feel like this should be a fairly simple formula, but I have not been able to figure it out. Any Suggestions?

I hope you're well and safe!
You'd need to use SUMIF.
Try something like this.
=SUMIF([Date Awarded]:[Date Awarded], IFERROR(MONTH(@cell), 0) = 9,[Amount Awarded]:[Amount Awarded])
Did that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic weekend!

As soon as you have more than one criteria, you'll want to use a SUMIFS (plural). The structure is the opposite, where you list the column/range you want to SUM first, then write the rest of the formula.
See: SUMIFS Function
Try something like:
=SUMIFS([Contract Amount]:[Contract Amount], [Date Awarded]:[Date Awarded], IFERROR(YEAR(@cell), 0) = 2022, [Date Awarded]:[Date Awarded], IFERROR(MONTH(@cell), 0) = 1)
Cheers,
Genevieve

@Andrée Starå I could use your help again. I need to separate the years for the amount awarded in a summary:
Any thoughts? Here is my formula:
=SUMIF([Date Awarded]:[Date Awarded], IFERROR(MONTH(@cell), 0) = 1, [Contract Amount]:[Contract Amount])

Here is my updated formula. I feel like I am close but obviously something is not working correctly.
=SUMIF([Date Awarded]:[Date Awarded], IFERROR(YEAR(@cell), 0) = 2022, [Date Awarded]:[Date Awarded], IFERROR(MONTH(@cell), 0) = 1, [Contract Amount]:[Contract Amount])
