    Yes, these solutions that still have issues are a couple of years old, and I also rarely use VLOOKUP today.

    I have received a response from Smartsheet

    "Thanks for responding. I completely understand the situation. Just to clarify, Smartsheet experienced an issue related to what's happening on your sheet and our Engineering team is still monitoring the fix they created. "

    The issue is still there. It's odd, as when I load the sheet that is supposed to have all the links in place, there is a small section of rows in the middle that are returning the error messages but still have the blue triangles showing data coming in. However, if I use the scroll bar to scroll to the bottom of the sheet and scroll back up all the blue arrow disappear! 🙄

    I'm yet to receive a further update.

    I daren't open any other client solutions! I'm pleased this has only happened on a set of sheets that I use personally for some volunteering I do!

    Like you Paul and Andree, I use a lot of Index(Match()) type functions to simulate a relational database in a lot of client solutions! (never use VLookup). I've asked for what triggered the behaviour, so that I can learn if it is behind the scenes or something that I did. (Although I didn't do anything that I don't normally do!!) If I get an answer, then I'll share it. If we know how to avoid triggering this, then that would be fab! (In my opinion, there has to be a trigger for this, as it isn't happening to all the sheets at the same time)...

    Thankfully, there aren't many issues like this using Smartsheet. It is usually very reliable and robust (if designed well!) :D

    @Debbie Sawyer Thanks for the update! I agree. Knowing the trigger would be SUPER helpful.

    Fortunately my clients that have been impacted have had Smartsheet for a while and already knew the value and (typical) reliability of it. I'm glad it hasn't happened to some of my clients that are new, still trying to learn, and still on the fence about Smartsheet.

    @Paul Newcome and @Andrée Starå

    FYI, if any of your clients are experiencing cell link issues where the returned value is missing (when there is data at the source) we have developed an app that can identify the broken links and fix them.

    Just thought I'd pop that comment here as it is only the three of us in this thread.

    Hope this is helpful.

    Kind regards

    Debbie
