Smartsheet/DocuSign Integration Query

Hi All,

Were currently reviewing some documentation on a smartsheet grid file, there is a checklist created off this file. It is then routing through DocuSign for sign off. Is it possible to amalgamate the document that is being reviewed with the checklist into the one file and sending both through DocuSign at the same time? Right now we are creating the checklist through smartsheet, routing through DocuSign and then have to store the documents in an external folder for review.

    If I'm understanding you correctly, you have an attachment on a Smartsheet row that you're reviewing. You're then using Smartsheet to check off items and generate a DocuSign file, and you'd like the original Attachment to be included as a "support document" in DocuSign along with the new file generated from the row.

    If that's the case, there currently isn't a way to include support documents as part of Smartsheet's DocuSign integration.

    A possible solution could be to create a few different DocuSign templates that have the associated file as a supporting document, then have Smartsheet choose which template to generate. However it sounds like you might have a unique file to review per-row so this may not work for your use-case.
