Copy row to new sheet without formatting?

I have a workflow that copies new rows in a sheet to another sheet. The formatting is copied along with the row (cell colors). Is it possible to copy a row without the formatting?

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit this as a Product Feedback or Idea (If it hasn't been added already) when you have a moment.

As a possible workaround, you could link the main sheet to another and then copy the row from that sheet instead.

Until that idea takes hold, there is a workaround. On the destination sheet, add a conditional formatting rule that makes the cell background white and the font color black if [a cell that is always expected to be filled out] "is not blank". It's not perfect and you'll have to leave that rule there forever (I believe if you add other rules, you just need to put them above that one in the order) - but it's something!
