Populate Smartsheet Column from another Smartsheet Column

I am creating a batch of PM sheets. Some of these sheets have columns that will be the use throughout, like Team and Organization. I have sheets where Team members and organizations will be defined. I would like to be able to link the entries in the columns from the Teams and Organization SmartSheet and populate the dropdown list in another sheet.

I believe this is possible with excel, but I am not sure about Smartsheet and if so how to do it.

I recently developed a solution for a client where the Dropdown lists are kept updated using the premium app Data Shuttle.

Is that an option?
