Linking Entire Column to Another Sheet

I have two sheets, "Master Staff Sheet" and "Door Access Sheet". Both sheets have ID column in them. I would like to dynamically link the entire ID column value range from the Master Staff Sheet to Door Access Sheet.

I was able to use the "Hyperlink..." function to link the entire column, but...when new ID row entries are added to the master staff sheet, they do not populate over in the door access sheet.

Is there another way to do this, maybe by a cross-sheet formula?

    Hi @gwson

I hope you're well and safe!

    Yes!

You could use cross-sheet formulas combined with either a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH structure to connect the sheets, and when you update the source sheet, it will reflect on the destination sheet.

To connect them row by row, you'd use an Autonumber Column in the Source sheet and add a so-called helper column to manually add the row id on as many rows as you think you need in the Destination sheet.

    Would that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe, and have a fantastic week!
