My COUNTM formula will not stay

Not sure what to do here. I inherited this sheet and the countm formula will not stay. If you remove the apostrophe it reverts back within a minute. How can I keep the formula?

@Laz It looks like they were using the apostrophe to keep the formula from running, and so Smartsheet displayed the formula as text in the cell. If you remove the apostrophe, then the formula would execute and return a number.

What are you trying to accomplish?

Try copying the formula without the apostrophe and then pasting it and converting it to a column formula.
