View Predecessors in Reports

Is it possible to view the Predecessors in a Report? When I create a Report from a Project Schedule, it does not show the Predecessors dependant on that task, it only shows the number of predecessors. I eventually created a duplicate column and put in a formula to copy the value of the Predecessor column and use that new column in the Report, however not sure why I can't just use the original Predecessor in a Report.

The reason reports don't show the predecessors is because the predecessor reference is the row #. As you start filtering and sorting reports, the row # is meaningless.

I just answered a question similar to this with someone who wanted to bring in WO# based on predecessors. The concept would be the same, but you would just pull in the Task Name instead of the WO#. Once you have your own "WO Dependency" field on your sheet, just include it in whatever report you're creating.
