Hello,

I have an intake sheet that we've been using for a year. Today, we added a new column and we need to collect the info for that column. I have a contact list column. No one has access to this sheet except our team.

What's the most efficient way to do this exercise?

Thank you in advance 🙂

    Yes, it does.

I'd recommend the update request method because you can send it to anyone, and they don't need to have a Smartsheet account.

Dynamic View would work, but the users would need to be registered in Smartsheet, but they wouldn't need a license.

    Would that work?

    Hi @maltaee

I hope you're well and safe!

There are a couple of alternatives.

    • Send an update request per row
    • Premium App, Dynamic View
    • Premium App, WorkApps

Would any of those options work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

    Thanks, Andrée.

I forget to mention some of the contact list are not on Smartsheet and no plan to make them join Smartsheet.

Does that change the 3 alternatives, or their order?
