Help with V-lookup
I have two sheets with the following 2 columns.
column 1 - HRC code
column 2 - status
The HRC code will always match on both sheets but the status may be different. Sheet 1 will have the most current status but sheet 2 may have old information. I want the vlookup from sheet 2 to find the hrc code on sheet 1 and automatically update the status according to the status listed on sheet 1. Is that possible?

Seems possible to me. Is the issue you're having the NOMATCH error?
-
No, in general I wasn't able to figure out how to return the value of the cell IF it doesn't match. So just ignore the nomatch. I kind of need help from scratch.

Hi @Tzippy
I hope you're well and safe!
How is the Status on sheet two filled in? Is it a formula or a manual input?
Be safe, and have a fantastic weekend!

Assuming that the status is manually entered on one sheet, I feel like you're doing the formula correctly but maybe your range isn't correct when you refer to the other sheet. Make sure you are selecting both columns in your reference.
