Granting access to external collaborators

I am trying to give temporary access to some external users. I get an error message stating that the email exists in another account, so it seems like they already have Smartsheet at their company. How can I add them to my account and/or give them access to the specific sheets? I will revoke their access after the engagement is over.

You wouldn't add them to your account but share the Smartsheet Assets with them instead.
