#UNPARSEABLE with multiple IF statements

Options

Hi,

I am trying to create TEXT depending on some conditional information.

I want to display text RED if my materials clear date is less than 7 days from my due date, display text YELLOW if my materials clear date is less than 14 days (but greater than 7 days), and if my materials clear date is greater than 15 days, leave the cell blank.

Here is the formula I came up with -

=IF([Original Promised Ship Date]@row +7 < [Materials Clear]@row, “RED”,

IF([Original Promised Ship Date]@row +14 < [Materials Clear]@row, “YELLOW”,

IF([Original Promised Ship Date]@row +15 < [Materials Clear]@row, “”)))

What am I missing here?

    Hi @Steve Burks

I hope you're well and safe!

At a glance, you have slanted "". I'm guessing you probably wrote the formula in Word or similar, correct?

    Try something like this.

    =IF([Original Promised Ship Date]@row +7 < [Materials Clear]@row, "RED",

    IF([Original Promised Ship Date]@row +14 < [Materials Clear]@row, "YELLOW",

    IF([Original Promised Ship Date]@row +15 < [Materials Clear]@row, "")))

    Did that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

Be safe, and have a fantastic weekend!
