Does anyone notice that the search function is not working anymore since 1 November 2022?
Since today (1 November 2022) when i search for a number or a text string within my smartsheets environment, the search function will direct me to the right sheet but not the right cell. Before today it would direct me to the right sheet and highlight the cell which contained the searched for number/string. This is for me and my team not the case anymore which causes frustration.
Does anyone else have the same problem?

I think they put a fix in for that recently. Try "turning it off and then back on" by logging out, clearing your browser's cookies and cache, then logging back in again.

SAME. I'm looking right at the field with the info, search that info, shows nothing. Literally the most basic function and they broke it. No way to contact support.

I logged out, cleared cookies, it did nothing.

I did that as well as using different browsers. No difference. Then it just started randomly working again, just like it stopped working randomly.

My search function hasn't been working properly since yesterday morning. It did start working yesterday afternoon, but this morning it is not. Does anyone know if this is going to be fixed?

Same here. Clicking on the search result opens sheet but not the specific row. If you hit the edit pencil icon on the result, it will open an edit screen, and at the bottom there will be a link that does take you to the specific row. But that link does not always show up there--seems to be intermittent.

Still not working for me. I am searching for a very specific number within smartsheet. My search result should only come back with a single entry (like it did thousands of times in years past). Instead, it comes back with a ton of useless data that does not even match my search! I can't believe such a vital function is broken!! I have half a dozen people in the office, rely on this function daily, and for it not to work, is a brazen offense!!!

I've just submitted a support ticket request. I didn't realize how important that function was until I couldn't use it.

Same here. I put in a support ticket yesterday. This morning search function window says that "since I just logged in for the first time in a while" it needs 24 hours to provision my data? Which is strange since I was logged into it last night and every workday previous to that.

Our staff is having problems with the search function this morning 11/9. They know the term is used in the sheet (it's a big sheet) but Search is returning an error message that says "Something went wrong, and we couldn't process your request. please reload the page aand try again." The staff has done that but there is no change.
Anyone know if this is just a glitchy, each user on their own for support tickets or if a system-wide fix is in the works?

Same here and is making my job incredibly difficult. Worked just fine before update and now won't find searches that are clearly there.

Mine is back to not working again. It's one of the most basic functions, without it the software is useless.
