Can Smartsheet identify is a daily entry is not made (business days only)?

Hello, I am using Smartsheet to record that a daily reconciliation is completed. I then created a workflow for a manager to review and approve the daily reconciliation.

I would like to know if Smartsheet can identify if a daily recon was not performed. In the case of our daily recon we are always one day behind so on Wednesday we are reconciling Tuesday, Thursday we are reconciling Wednesday, etc... and Monday we are reconciling Friday.

Is there a formula to identify if there is no entry for a work date?
