Conditional Formatting base on a Variable Value
I am using smartsheets to track time expended on multiple projects and need to conditionally format a cell based on a variable value in a specific cell.

You would need to include a helper column with a formula that flags rows that are too low. You would then set up your conditional formatting to be based on the helper column.

Yes, this was the work around I had to do. Unnecessary extra steps and somewhat ruins my beautiful report, but it worked..

You can hide the helper column to help keep the sheet looking clean.
