Form Text Disappearing Issue?

Hello,

I have a form with help text:

However, whenever I add an additional option under the dropdown menu, the text disappears. Does anyone know why that is?

I've exhausted all my ideas for what might be happening. My only other suggestion is trying a different web browser (and/or clearing your current browser's cache). Sometimes, that resolves these kinda random issues.

After that, recommend opening a ticket with SS support.

Hi, Benjamin. When you say "the text disappears," do you mean the "xxxxxxxxxxxx" text under Request Type, the "Select" text in the dropdown area, or do you mean that the value a form user selects does not appear in the worksheet this form feeds?

Perfect. A couple more questions for you:

1. Are you adding the new option to the dropdown menu from the form editor or by editing the column on your worksheet?
2. Is the column type on your worksheet set to "Dropdown list"?
3. (don't hate me for this one) ... Are you saving the form after you edit it (and before you click the back arrow to return to your worksheet)?

1. Adding it from the dropdown menu on the form editor. Though I did try it the other way around it I experienced the same issue.
2. Yes, it's a dropdown list.
3. I'll have to double-check.

I tried to put in a new value using the form, and the help text disappeared and the save button remained greyed-out. However, when I clicked on the back arrow and went back into the form, the new value was present, along with the help text.

I have no idea why this is happening.
