Maintaining predecessors

Is there a way to set and carry over a predecessor relationship? For example, if I want to copy and paste a group of lines from the template to another part of the Smartsheet, can I have the dependencies update so they are still dependent on the same tasks and the predecessor column updates automatically?

    Hi @Christina Popolizio,

You can select multiple lines in a project plan, copy, and paste them within the same plan; and they will carry the Predecessors with them. If you copy to another sheet, Predecessors will be lost.

You can also select only certain columns for several rows, copy, and paste them within the same sheet; and they will also carry the Predecessors with them (as long as the Predecessors column is among the selected when copying/pasting).

    BRgds,
