=IF(CONTAINS... Syntax Error
Trying to figure out where I've gone wrong with my syntax...
In a Total column I have the following '#Unparseable' formula
=IF(CONTAINS(“Custom”, [Data-Pipe Type]@row), 4, 1)
Help me see what I can't see please?

Happy to help!
Strange!
The formula you pasted isn't mine.
The 4 aren't included in mine.
=IF(CONTAINS("Custom", [Data-Pipe Type]@row), 1)
Did that work? If it doesn't work when you paste, try typing it in.

Hi @Michelle S.
I hope you're well and safe!
Try something like this.
=IF(CONTAINS("Custom", [Data-Pipe Type]@row), 1)
Did that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

@Andrée Starå - thanks for the suggestion, however, it was still returning #unparseable :(
I just remembered I have seen this behavior before (if I copy and paste the formula from another system it comes back as #unparseable) and sometimes it requires me manually typing in the formula. I manually typed it in and it's now working...
Final Formula:
=IF(CONTAINS("Custom", [Data-Pipe Type]@row), 4, 1)
Let me know if you see any difference :)

@Andrée Starå , I needed the 4 for my full formula. Basically if the word custom appears I need a 4 in my calculation, otherwise I need a 1. Yes, manually typing the formula resolves the problem, however, this is a very long formula so I was hoping it would just accept the copy/pasted version. Sometimes we just have to do what works and move on :) Thank you.
