Main use of workspace vs view resources?

I am new to Smartsheet and I am kind getting confused by what purposes do both workspace and resource view serve.

It's two different things.

• Workspace is a way to organize Smartsheet Items and simplify sharing and more.
• Resource View is used for the Legacy Resource Management feature to get an overview of Resources.
