Sorting Submissions
I have a Form that links to different sheets via the logic function. However the new submissions are not flowing to the top of the Smartsheet it is assigned to.
I know that in the Settings of the Form you can have new submissions appear at the top of the sheet, but since I have a Form that feeds out the requests to different Smartsheets, I am unable to find a workflow or a setting to have that submission flow to the top of that Smartsheet it goes to.
Anyone know how this can be automated? The move rows function in the workflows only works with moving the row from one sheet to the next.

Hi,
You can use the "Date Created" or "Date Modified" column type to have a time stamp and then set the sort order of the target sheet to be based on those columns. That should sort the latest entry on top. Does that help?

@Captain Cowtown I currently have the Date Created stamped, which is how I am able to do it if I had 1 form per Smartsheet. However in this case I have one form that farms out to different Smartsheets, and not only does it go to the bottom, it flows down 4-5 rows.

Hi @adam.b
I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!
- A possible workaround could be to use a formula to collect the latest submission information at the top of the sheet(s).
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic weekend!

@Andrée Starå thank you for letting me know. I have submitted a ticket. Hope it can get put into the features, because the movement from one Smartsheet to another workflow is really a great feature.

@Andrée Starå I found the workaround. I built one form that is treated like a portal, and it houses links in the header column, and they are linking to the different created forms. This seems to do the job if anyone that comes across this is wondering if there is a fix or workaround.

Excellent! Thanks for sharing!
Happy to help!
