Automatically updating a super sheet?

I am new to smart sheets and have been tasked with creating a master schedule for our teams. I am working with two different teams on a project and each team has its own schedule. Is there a way that I can set up the team schedules to automatically feed into a super sheet?

Ideally, I would like them to identify if an item on the schedule is a key event and then have all of the key events feed into the master schedule. I've tried to hyperlink cells but I don't want to have to constantly update the super sheet with hyperlinks.

Hey!

I have not explored using a report instead. I am not familiar with reports. Also would a report be able to continually update the master sheet as each group add items to their schedules?

A Report is basically another view of one or more sheets, so that would be the master instead.

Make sense?

So if I used the report I could just pull the items that are marked as "Key events" from each schedule and then those items can be combined into one master schedule?

Yes, you can set the report to look at specific sheets or workspace(s) and set the criteria to look for the key events, and then it will automatically be updated.
