Set Start and End Date for Two Tasks
I'm trying to find a solution for populating a start and estimated completion date for two tasks simultaneously. For example, I use headings for Start Date, Est. Completion, and Completed. I have a task (Validate Scope) that should mirror the Start Date and Est. Completion of the Execution task (parent row). I tried using Start-to-Start and Start-to-Finish to accomplish this, but the Start and End date for the Validate Scope task remain the Start Date of the Execution parent row.
I've highlighted the cells in a screenshot of my sheet below:

Try setting two predecessors. The first would be Start/Start and the second would be Finfish/Finish.
Have you tried adjusting the duration so that it matches the Execution Duration?

Thanks, Paul.
I tried using the SS and FF dependencies but received a CIRCULAR error. I can adjust the duration manually, but you can't use a formula to = the time of another row (which would be ideal). The problem is I can adjust it now, but if the project gets pushed, the field will not update accordingly.
