cannot edit existing automated workflows
I am trying to edit some existing workflows and when I click the edit button nothing happens
I can still create new ones if use the templates but when I click create from scratch nothing happens as well... it was working fine yesterday, any one got the same issue or I am dealing with an isolated case here?

Strange!
Try these troubleshooting steps first.
- Check the Smartsheet Status page if there are any reported issues: https://status.smartsheet.com/
- Log out / in again
- Try a different browser
- Try the browsers in Private/Incognito mode
- If possible, check if other users have the same issue
If the steps above don't solve it, and If you haven't already, I recommend submitting a support ticket through the new Smartsheet Support Portal and providing the results of the troubleshooting steps above.

The issue described on this post was resolved back in January. If you're unable to edit workflows today, I would first check to ensure you have the correct permission on the sheet in order to perform this action. See: Permissions required to create and edit automated workflows

I am the Owner of the sheet and have been able to create and edit the automation for months. Now I suddenly cannot. What has changed?

Thanks for confirming you have the correct permissions! The next things to check are your browser, browser version, and browser extensions. Here's a Help Article that goes through some basic checks.
- Log out and log back in
- Try an Incognito or private window (if this works, it indicates the issue has to do with cache/cookies)
- Try another browser (if this works, it indicates an issue with the browser you were using. Check to see if your browser needs to be updated, or disable all the browser extensions and add them in one by one to see what is blocking your access)
- Create a copy of the sheet and see if you can edit the same workflow in the copy (if this works, then this indicates the issue is isolated to your one specific sheet. See if you can reduce complexity of the sheet. If that hasn't helped, you may need to reach out to Support)

You can contact Support through the Support Portal - here's the link.
They'll need to see a screen recording of what you're experiencing along with the Sheet URL or unique Sheet Name where this specific issue is happening (or if it's happening on all sheets).
It would be best if you could identify the outcome of all of the steps above as well (e.g.: "Creating a copy of the sheet did or did not make a difference").
