Using result from one check box to check another box
The trigger box is a checkmark, the receiving box is a star. I'm using this formula:
=IF ([ShipC Updated]@row = 1), 1
The column name is ShipC Updated, the column I'm putting the formula in is Complete (has the star). I'm getting #Unparsable errors regardless of what I try! Please help!! Snip of spreadsheet below. Both columns are checkbox columns.
Thank you!!

Hi @ReneeW
I hope you're well and safe!
Try something like this.
=IF([ShipC Updated]@row = 1, 1)
Did that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week & Happy Holidays!

Excellent!
You're more than welcome!
You were off with the space at the beginning and the parenthesis at the end.

@ReneeW Have you tried replacing the 1 with the word true? That is what a checkmark usually represents. (No quotes needed.)

@Dale Murphy I appreciate the quick response! That doesn't seem to work either.

@Andrée Starå A think of beauty! Thank you so much! I'd tried other posts by you so don't know where I was "off" exactly, but I copied and pasted yours into the cell and voila! Happy Holiday to you, as well. Renee

@Andrée Starå One more question. We are using Workflows to automate alerts on certain report conditions. This one seems straightforward to me, and does return the alert, however, it returns for other rows where the date condition doesn't exist ... meaning, there are comments in the first couple of rows so the columns are still present. However, the date field is not populated to meet the first condition. What are we missing?
