Import vs Copy and paste
Hello,
I currently have a report that gets generated outside of smartsheets, we call this the BOAR report. I previously was copy/pasting the BOAR into a smartsheets grid but sometimes the BOAR is very large and cannot be copied.
The reason I was not importing the BOAR is because I have multiple ss reports that are generated based off of the BOAR that wouldn't have a link established if I was to import.
Is there any way to import the BOAR without losing the connections to the smartsheets report? I have over a dozen sheets like this and manually establishing the links would take a lot of time for how often we update the report.
Thanks,

@Alex Carter If you have access to Data Shuttle that is one option. Otherwise, reports can be pointed to a folder and when a new sheet is imported into that folder it would get added to the report automatically. Maybe that can help?

Hi @Alex Carter
I hope you're well and safe!
To add to Darren's excellent advice/answer.
Another option could be to add a so-called Import Sheet that would be connected and structured to work with the BOAR. You'd import the BOAR to a new Smartsheet Sheet and then move the rows to the Import sheet.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week & Happy Holidays!

@Andrea Mayer @Darren Mullen - I ended up connecting the report to a folder as I believe this would be the easiest method for my team to also use. Thanks for the help!

How would I move the data from the BOAR that I imported into the import sheet?
