Will there be a 2023 Core Skills Certification Exam?

Hello,

I am interested in taking the exam for the Core Skills certificate, but I am not sure if there is a 2023 exam I should wait to be released.

There will be a 2023 exam released later this year, however I do not believe this will be available before the end of January. Here's information from the Smartsheet Certified FAQs:

How long do I have to take the exam once I’m registered?

You have until the certification is retired to take the exam. A new edition of the certification exam will be released every year. We will post a notice on the Exam Details page when an exam is close to retirement. 

Here's the Exam Details page for the 2022 Core Product Certification. There is no notice yet, so this certification is still active and there is no date for the new release yet.

Just following-up with new information: the current 2022 Exam will be retired on February 14th, 2023, and the 2023 exam will be released in March.

@Genevieve P. , Thank you so much! I already took the 2022 exam this year, should I take the the 2023 exam or just renew before my expiration date next January?

Smartsheet certifications are valid for 1 year. 🙂

You can either earn 10 PDUs through Smartsheet training and events before your certification expires to maintain your Certified status, or you can choose to take the updated version of the exam.
