Show 0 if blank cell

Hi there,

I have a formula that helps us determine the number of hours a project will take based on the modules created. [# modules *30]+120

The formula obviously always states 120 even if there are no modules to work on, how can I fix this to show 0 or blank cell.

I've tried IFERROR, ISBLANK and IF statements and can't seem to denote not to do the formula if there is nothing in the # of Modules cell.

Thanks!

    Sure:

Essentially, there are 3 parts to a Lesson we create (Mircrolession, Network Sim & Module) Not every project contains all 3, but the Course Timeline is dependent on the hours it takes for each section.

I'd like to set it up so that if there is a blank cell, the Hours columns stay blank or show '0'

For each there's a baseline of operations hours + the hours it takes per item (i.e. # of Modules * 30 hours + 120 operations hours = the est. time to create those modules).

If there's a simpler way than to calculate each section on it's own, then sum the totals in the Course Est Timeline, I"m open to it, but I've been having issues not getting the cells to stay blank when no information is in there.

    Hope that helps!
