New Girl Question - What's your best/favorite way to learn on Smartsheet?
There are lots of options. How do you like to learn best? I'm newer to Smartsheet and really want to dive in to achieving different badges. I love the gamification aspect of it. My role is a hybrid of change management, communications, marketing, stakeholder management, project management, and strategy.🤩

Hi @gmwalt,
I really enjoyed the Smartsheet Learning Tracks. There were 3:
Level 1 - Get Started (16 short videos)
Level 2 - Intermediate (14 short videos)
Level 3 - Advance (13 short videos)
I find the videos on youtube to be fine, but longer and harder to digest.
Then I took the free learning track / course to earn my Core Apps Skills Badge (free). This takes you through showing you how to do things, having you do them, and then taking a quiz which some answers are found in the work you did along the learning track.
Several months later I attended ENGAGE 2022, and earned my Core Apps Certification as well as my Project Management Certification. Both of these had costs associated with them. The PM Cert is quite challenging and has a high fail rate.
Best of luck to you!
BRgds,

I did all the videos as well and we had a professional help from outside. While it was useful it wasn't interactive so people weren't learning. Now I take them on an interactive course for the Get Started and Intermediate levels that has them creating forms, automation, reports and even just their own sheet. It has been well received.

Hi, @gmwalt - I concur with Ray above - the Core App Path is really well done. If you do the capstone at the end, you'll earn a badge! The video tracks are great if you're looking for direction on something specific, but I preferred the Core App Path because it's interactive.

Does anyone have a link to the core Apps course? Thanks!

Hi @Brucey
You can access this from the Smartsheet University, on the eLearning Page, here.
The links for the courses will show up once you've signed in. 🙂

@Genevieve P. Thanks so much!
It doesn't appear to be free anymore though ...

Hi @Brucey
The interactive eLearning courses in the Smartsheet University do have a cost associated, yes.
If you're looking for free training, there are a number of webinars available!
The Learning Tracks mentioned above are available in the Help Center for free as well:
Cheers,
Genevieve

Any way to learn without watching a million videos? I don't have time to sit through all these videos and just want to get started.. Thanks!

Hi,
I hope you're well and safe!
The videos and the help section are the best way, I think.
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

for me it was Smartsheet University, that gave me everything I needed to get going. From there it was this community, YouTube and the Smartsheet ProDesk resource to overcome hurdles when I got stuck
