Is there a way to change a filename automatically?

Hi Everyone,

I have been looking to change the filenames for uploads automatically using the Smartsheet cell. I am not sure if I would have to code this myself using the API or if there was an automatic way to do this within Smartsheets!

@ColeyHatt There is no automatic way to do this. However, I suggest you reach out to @Ryan Sides . He may be able to help you with a solution.

@ColeyHatt like Darren mentioned, there's no way to do this within Smartsheet, but I created a little app (through the API) that renames your attachment to a column formula in your sheet. It captures the version control as well so you can see the original file name and the new file name in SS.
