In Cardview - Best way to remember if you have updated the card.

We use cardview to get the status updates from co-works. As we work through the "cards" it becomes hard to remember which cards we discussed and which one we haven't. What is the best way to deal with this issue?

It would be great if in the upper right-hand corner there was a bright color (maybe blue) letting me know that the cell hasn't been updated that day (or some smaller time frame).

If you aren't already using the task status bar to signify something you could totally do this! First, add the Auto-Number/System Modified column to your sheet. After saving your sheet once this column will fill in the dates and times every row was last edited. Now, in card view you can use conditional formatting to set the task status bar color based on when the row was last modified. For example, you might do something like:

If Modified is Today then apply this format (green status bar) to the entire row

If Modified is in the past then apply this format (red status bar) to the entire row

I've attached a picture to show what the conditional formatting looks like. I hope that helps with your problem!

(note: if you update a row, the system modified date doesn't change until you actually save your sheet. If you move a card from one column to another, you'll have to save before the color change takes affect)
