Email one person who shares a sheet

Hiya fellow SS groupies,

within SS, I want to ask a general question of just one person who already shares a sheet as part of a group.

See attached. I can email the one person an attachement of the sheet but then they dont get a hyperlink or i could also email all the shared groups, but i have 32 people in 4 groups who share this sheet and i dont want to email everybody. In this instance the 'update' function isn't appropriate and the comments section isnt direct enough to solicite a rapid response (cant wait for Direct Messeging in SS)

How do you ask one person (who is part of a group) a general question about a sheet please?

Si,

Have you tried using the Publish option (bottom tab)? When you turn on one of the options, it gives you a link to the sheet and you can email that to your specific user.

Do the same steps for Email Shared Users

Under the TO field should be a link that says "All Shared users"

Click on it, and then you should be able to select a specific person who's shared to that sheet.

EDIT

Alternative, since re-reading seems to indicate it's a user within one of the shared groups

Send the row, which allows you to customize who you'll send it to.

Just make sure to add text to the body of the email to enforce that it's about the whole sheet, rather than that specific row

I think the update request would be good along with possibly using comments to that specifi person
