[User Error - Figured it out] Why do Subtasks get moved to Uncategorized?

I am using the Card View and adding subtasks. When saved, these sub tasks are no longer nested under the main task, but now living under the Uncategorized tab.
What's the logic behind this and is there a way the subtask takes on the cat of the main task?

I have the same problem, what was the answer?

Hi Brooks,
When creating a sub-task, it's still in essence a task. so it still needs to be filled out completely. Instead of adding a new task or subtask via Card View, I've learned to only create new tasks in List view and manage tasks in Card view
