Hmmm. I just tested it on my iPhone, but it was a weird experience. I was able to view the sheet, but the editing experience is a little weird. You have to go to the row editing button and not the grid view. Then you choose the task you want to edit, and then you can edit the row data that way... You'll see at about 22 seconds in I try to access the grid view, and that content is not editable. See my video below.

I wouldn't think so. I'd start troubleshooting by making sure you are signed into the correct user on the mobile device. Also, double check the link, are they exactly the same? OR is one perhaps a published sheet? Are you using the Smartsheet Mobile App? I'd start with those steps first. Let us know if one of those worked.

Mike, I'm not signed into any account on the mobile device. I was hoping to get around that using the published link.

Gotcha, 2 questions then,
- Did you turn on the switch the first arrow is pointing at?
- Are you using the editable link?
It appears that Editing by anyone generates a unique url that is different than the read only link.

yes and yes. I thought for sure that was the way to go to edit a sheet without being logged into Smartsheet!

When you click the get link do you have the following option selected?
-
With that setting I was able to edit my sheet in an incognito window.

I do yes! and it works on my computer as well not signed into an account. just doesn't work on mobile device. I've tried Android and IOS!

Are any of the columns editable? Or are some of them editable? Are there any locked columns? Do you have column formulas applied to certain columns that you want to be able to edit?
-
No, there's a report running off the sheet and a autonumbering column for last modified. That's it.

Ok that works! Definitely an awkward interaction as you pointed out. I wish it was more similar to a normal sheet interaction to save time. Thanks Mike!

Yes, for sure. Weird engagement, but it kind of makes sense as side scrolling and such and incoporating interaction could be a hassle on the application side.

I've had this same problem with mobile device...but in my case...the mobile device doesn't have a way to attach files or photos. You're above method doesn't fix that. Am I not able to use a Published Sheet to attach files / photos from my phone?
