Control Center multiple projet creation

Hello everyone,

I have a question about Control Center that is very important for us :

Do you know if I can create projects within Control Center with multiple users connected simultaneously as primary lead account ?

For exemple user 1 connect as primary lead generic account and create a project.

While this is happening, user 2 connect on the same primary lead generic account and also launch a project creation.

Do you know what happen in that case ?

I have not tried this myself, but the Primary Lead role is not designed to have two people logged in as that account at the same time. Since Control Center runs through the API token of the Primary Lead, if you attempt to provision multiple projects from different login sessions at the same time this could lead to an error.

I would recommend looking into Automatic Provisioning instead. See the very bottom question (How can I automate my project provisioning?) in this Help Article: Smartsheet Control Center FAQ

You can either contact your account representative to discuss this option or contact Smartsheet Support to enable it.

Control Center allows up to ten slots for Project Creators. A slot can be filled with an individual email address, a Smartsheet Group (everyone in the group would become a Project Creator), or an entire company domain (everyone in the domain would become a Project Creator)

Thank you for your answer !

I would like to avoid giving access to a Control Center with multiple account so I was thinking of one generic mail adress (as primary lead) that could be shared with people that need to create project.

Maybe I should think about giving access to more people but we are quickly blocked as you can only put 5 leads and 10 project creators.

You can add 10 individual Project creators or use a group or domain instead. I'd recommend creating and using a group to make it simpler to maintain.

Thank you for your answer, so that means that we can have more than 10 users creating projects, for intance it could be 10 differents groups or domains.
