Smartsheet Report is showing blank to the shared users

Hello, I have created a smartsheet report from a sheet and shared with the stakeholders with Viewer Permission. But the members are not able to see anything in that report. Showing completely blank. Then I removed the Filters from the report and gave the Editor Permission, but still the result is same.

The report shows nothing to the shared users when they try to click the link that I shared to them via email. The only way they can see it if I publish the report as Read only and generate the link for everybody who has the link.

Please help!

Are they shared with the underlying sheets? They will only see what they have access to.

This doesn't make sense. I am trying to create a report to share without sharing the sheet as the sheet has information on it not pertinent to the report and I want to keep confidential. SS should be able to pull information from certain columns, given filters, parameters, etc. to create a report to share to others. No need for a report if I need to share the sheet as well.

Yes, I also didn't want to share the Sheets, because it's annoying for some users to get more than one email and also confusing sometimes if he or she is not so much tech friendly.

I think to avoid this problem, you would have to create a Public View only link of that report and share with the stakeholders also comes with a problem that anyone can see that report using that link.

The larger sheet can be overwhelming to staff, as well. Total waste to have it work this way. It makes the report absolutely worthless and functions as a shared underlying sheet anyway---especially when you don't want those people to access the full sheet. Smartsheet makes this way more complex than it needs to be...all in the name of pushing small businesses to upgrade beyond their capacity or need.
