Need a Successors Column
I REALLY need a successors column, for the same reason that multiple people have listed in discussion threads.
1) is this an enhancement in the backlog?
2) when is this high priority feature going to be added?
Thanks

Hi @TSco
We recently released a Successor Function so that you can use a formula to create a column like this, see: Two new PPM Functions: Successors and isCritical, available now!
Cheers,
Genevieve

Thank you, I looked at the documentation and from what limited info is there, I'm not able to make it work yet. I downloaded the PMO Solution Template, and trying to add a column with this formula in that project plan. Is there any examples you can provide specifically with values in it related to that template?

If you have a question for the Community, please feel free to create one in the relevant Category from the top right "Ask a Question" button! I'd be happy to take a look and I'm sure our other Community members will be able to offer alternate advice as well.
However if you have a Smartsheet question that has sensitive data you need to share, I would recommend contacting the Support team (here) so you can ask your question via a private channel.
I hope that helps!

Hi @TSco
The Successors function just needs any cell within the current row to be referenced in order to bring back a list of all the successor row numbers. Since it's possible you may have multiple rows dependent on the current one, Successors should be within a JOIN function so you can identify how you want to separate the row values, like so:
=JOIN(SUCCESSORS([Task Name]@row), ",")
I used a comma in that example, but you could use a / symbol or -, etc.
Let me know if that helps!
Cheers,
Genevieve

Hi Genevie, Im getting "incorrect Argument" result
I think this is a very important function and should be included as a drop in option for columns

Hey @ArchieDG
Can you post a screen capture of your sheet with the formula open like I have above? (But please block out sensitive data)
Thanks!
Genevieve
